Join APA’s Final Fridays Webinar – Building the Next Generation of Prosecutor-Led Diversion Programs

Please join the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA) for their July Final Fridays webinar, “Building the Next Generation of Prosecutor-Led Diversion Programs,” on Friday, July 29 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. The webinar will examine some of the key characteristics of a prosecutor-led diversion program, highlighting some leading examples of the program and some of the features of a new Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) training and technical assistance (TTA) program. The new BJA TTA program can help prosecutors nationwide build upon the rich tradition of prosecutors using diversion to give eligible persons an important second chance.

The webinar presenter is Robert Hood, APA’s Director of the Community Prosecution and Violent Crime Division. This webinar is designed for any criminal justice professional who is interested in learning more about what is currently happening in the field, where it is likely heading in the future, and how you can get help in designing or operating such a program.
