The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services’ (COPS) What’s New in Blue short video series covers innovative developments for policing and critical issues impacting law enforcement in the field. Each video includes informative discussions related to policing in the United States. In the most recent video, “Policing in Indian Country feat. Chief Francis Bradley,” Francis Bradley Sr., Chief of Police for the Hualapai Nation in Peach Springs, Arizona, discusses the importance of culture in policing in Indian Country. Previous topics include police-community relations, the protection of children from trafficking and abduction, and officer health and safety.
The video series, inspired by the approach used for TED Talks, is intended for use in roll call or training classes. The COPS Office encourages law enforcement officers to share the video series with their colleagues and on their social media channels.
