The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) has released the BJA Strategic Plan for fiscal years 2013-2016. The plan reflects the need to be innovative, evidence-based, and results-driven during these challenging economic times. The BJA Strategic Plan is based on one overarching guiding principle: to reduce crime and recidivism, in the effort to promote a safe and fair criminal justice system. As BJA embarked upon the development of this strategic plan, five major focus areas emerged that aligned to the work of those entities, like NTTAC, that promote the mission and future vision of BJA. Read the BJA Strategic Plan to learn more about the specific goals and priorities that will guide BJA's future efforts.
