BJA Releases National Initiative: Reaching Criminal Justice Policymakers Solicitation – Applications are due June 2
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for the National Initiative: Reaching Criminal Justice Policymakers. This solicitation seeks to provide: 1) training and technical assistance to State Administering Agencies, 2) training and technical assistance to criminal justice policymakers, 3) training and technical assistance to paroling authorities, and 4) training and technical assistance to state and local departments of corrections. The purpose of this program is to further the Department of Justice’s mission and to provide the nation’s criminal justice policymakers with objective, fact-based information, resources, and training and technical assistance on timely and pressing criminal justice issues of potential concern to them. The intent is to support pathways for evidence-based best practices to reach policymakers in various roles. Applicants must register with Grants.gov prior to submitting an application. All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on June 2, 2014.
