The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for the Law Enforcement: National Training and Technical Assistance Initiatives. The two initiatives focus on providing: 1) training and technical assistance nationwide to increase the effectiveness and ensure the success of state and local multi-jurisdictional law enforcement task forces created and addressing local crime issues; and 2) training and technical assistance to law enforcement departments nationwide seeking assistance in improving homicide investigations and, subsequently, their homicide clearance rate. These programs further the Department of Justice's mission by enhancing the capacity of state and local jurisdictions in preventing and reducing crime. Applicants must register with Grants.gov prior to submitting an application. All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on May 13, 2014.
