BJA is Hosting Two Body-Worn Camera Solicitation Webinars, One on March 21 and One on March 23 – Register Today!

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) will host two informational webinars on the recently released body-worn camera (BWC) solicitations; one will be held on March 21, and the other will take place on March 23, 2016. The purpose of these webinars is to give applicants an opportunity to ask questions directly to BJA staff regarding these two new solicitations.

The webinar on the Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program (More than 25 Officers) FY 2016 Competitive Grant Announcement will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. ET. The webinar on the Small Agency Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program (25 or Fewer Officers) FY 2016 Competitive Grant Announcement with be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. ET. In both webinars, BJA will review the eligibility, goals, requirements, considerations, funding, and other expectations for agencies considering applying under each grant. It will also introduce the training and technical assistance provider – CNA – to help agencies get the support they need while developing BWC policy and implementation programs.

Applicants must register with Grants.gov prior to submitting an application for both solicitations. All applications are due in Grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. ET on April 27, 2016.
