BJA and IIR Release the Nationwide Crime Analysis Capability Project Solicitation – Applications are due July 11
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) are seeking applications for the Nationwide Crime Analysis Capability Project. This solicitation seeks to develop three different law enforcement agencies as models for a robust crime analysis capability, and to develop a toolkit of resources that will be made available nationally to assist law enforcement agencies in improving their crime analysis proficiency.
It is anticipated that three awards will be made to agencies with a current analytic capability who are willing to participate in the project and work with a subject-matter expert to enhance that capability. Awards of the following types will be considered: one award to a midsized agency, one award to an agency with regional partnerships that may include a fusion center, and one award to an agency that operates a real-time crime center.
