Attend a Webinar on an Updated Resource – Enhanced Juvenile Justice Guidelines

Join the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) for the “Introduction to the Enhanced Juvenile Justice Guidelines Webinar” on Thursday, December 20 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET. During this webinar, participants will learn about the NCJFCJ’s new Enhanced Juvenile Justice Guidelines.

In 2005, the NCJFCJ published its Juvenile Delinquency Guidelines: Improving Court Practice in Juvenile Delinquency Cases (JDG), which has served as a seminal resource for juvenile justice practitioners. With funding from the State Justice Institute, the NCJFCJ updated the JDG to ensure this guidebook remains timely and reflects important changes in the field, such as U.S. Supreme Court decisions that have ended the death penalty and solitary confinement for juveniles in the justice system. The resulting publication is the Enhanced Juvenile Justice Guidelines, which NCJFCJ will unveil and review during webinar.
