As part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center (NIWRC) for their webinar “Understanding the Dynamics and Tactics of Intimate Partner Violence through the Lens of Indigenous Survivors” on October 21, 2020 at 3:00–4:30 p.m. ET. This webinar will explore the root causes of intimate partner violence (IPV) in Indigenous communities through the lens of a survivor’s perspective. Presenters will also discuss the importance of traditional, cultural practices when engaging in IPV advocacy in Indigenous communities.
