Attend a Webinar on Expanding Outreach and Services to Victims of Identity Theft and Cybercrime

Join the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) for the “Expanding Outreach to Victims of Identity Theft and Cybercrime” webinar on Wednesday, March 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. During the webinar, participants will learn about the National Identity Theft Victims Assistance Network (NITVAN), which seeks to enhance the outreach and capacity of victim service programs.

NITVAN’s efforts aim to better address the rights and needs of identity theft and cybercrime victims. Through a national network model, NITVAN expands victim service providers’ capacity to support victims, while encouraging the expansion of current victim service programs and coalitions. Participants will also gain insight into how they can enhance and expand services to identity theft victims.

Hazel Heckers, a victim assistance coordinator with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s Identify Theft, Fraud, and Cyber Crimes Investigations Unit, will present this webinar, part of OVC’s Expert Q&A series.
