Join the Justice Clearinghouse for the webinar “Effective Use of Teams in Probation & Parole” on Tuesday, April 24 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET. During the webinar, participants will learn about the “supervision teams” strategy, which has been implemented by specialty courts, such as drug courts, to assist probationers. Important factors for successful supervision teams, including communication and the definition of a common, cohesive goal, will also be discussed.
Panelists will review learning objectives such as:
- The use of supervision teams to assist in the successful supervision of offenders;
- Effective supervision team strategies that aid in positive behavioral change; and
- How to avoid pitfalls related to having multiple members involved in the supervision process.
