The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is sponsoring the VALOR Officer Safety Conference in Layton, UT from January 20 - 22, 2016. The VALOR Conference, hosted by the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Utah, will provide officers with the opportunity to learn about the principles of the VALOR Initiative, with the goal of re-energizing officers about the law enforcement profession. The VALOR Initiative is designed to help prevent violence against law enforcement officers and ensure officer resilience and survivability following violent encounters experienced during the course of their duties.
BJA NTTAC resources will be available at the VALOR Conference including resources to assist your agency in adopting a body-worn camera program, implementing a law enforcement naloxone program, and enhancing your crime analysis capabilities.
