Register to join the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Elder Justice Initiative for the webinar “A Walk Through the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Guide and Toolkit” on Tuesday, May 30 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET. During this webinar, participants will learn key aspects of the new Multidisciplinary Team Guide and Toolkit, enabling them to create or grow an elder abuse case review MDT. The review will include:
- Layout and usability;
- Highlights from each chapter; and
- Questions and feedback.
Each May, the U.S Department of Health and Human Services's Administration for Community Living leads activities and programming for Older Americans Month (OAM) to raise awareness for issues facing seniors and older Americans. In addition to the May 30 webinar, OVC TTAC released a number of criminal justice-related resources to support OAM, such as webinar recordings from their Elder Justice Initiative Webinar Series and online trainings on responding to elder abuse.
