Join the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) Center for Justice Planning for the webinar “Strategic Planning: An Action Guide” on Wednesday, June 28 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. ET. During this webinar, participants will learn about key features and steps for statewide strategic planning, how to get started, and how to build on existing planning efforts. The webinar will also review planning tools, such as SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis and the sequential intercept model (SIM), which policymakers use to intercept and link individuals with behavioral health issues to appropriate programs and services.
Deb Matteucci, Executive Director of the Montana Board of Crime Control, will present the webinar. Her experience includes using SIM in the behavioral health system and conducting strategic planning. During the webinar, she will also discuss the new requirement for including a strategic plan in the Byrne Justice Assistance Grant Program.
