This year the South Carolina Correctional Association (SCCA), South Carolina Probation and Parole Association (SCPPA) and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association (SCLEOA) have forged an alliance that promises to offer one of the most diverse, high-quality, affordable, professional criminal justice training conferences ever held in the state.
The conference will offer multiple professional training tracks focusing on the latest investigative techniques, information technology, correctional strategies, and evidenced based practices. It will feature the profession’s best exhibitors and vendors, a opening reception, an awards banquet, activities, door prizes, a silent auction, and many social events. Most of these events will take place at one of Myrtle Beach’s premiere resorts—the Marriott at Grande Dunes.
This year’s training conference anticipates over 400 attendees and over 40 exhibitors. With four training tracks, over 24 high-quality workshops will be conducted. There will be many opportunities to win prizes, participate in silent auctions, and raise funds for charities. Each association will recognize and award their association’s top performers and scholarship recipients.
