Event Description:

Please join the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA) for their July Final Fridays webinar, Brady v. Maryland: Meeting Ethical Obligations through Brady Protocols and Brady Lists, to be held on Friday, July 26th from 3:00-4:00pm (EST). This month’s webinar completes APA’s two part series on Brady issues. It will feature a presentation and discussion led by Robert Hood, APA’s Director of the Community Prosecution & Violent Crime Division, along with perspectives from three prosecuting entities from around the country. In this webinar attendees will learn about what Brady Protocols and Brady Lists are; the benefits, challenges, and pitfalls of drafting such policies; and how they can help prosecutor’s offices meet both their constitutional and ethical requirements under Brady. The panelists will also discuss the risks of failing to have such policies and some of the common questions that are raised about such policies.

APA is seeking one hour of “ethics” eligible CLE certification from the State of Virginia for this webinar. To download a webinar flyer or to register for this webinar, click on the links below.
