The subaward to IJIS Institute and its subawardee, Tetrus Consulting, Inc., was fully executed during this reporting period. The work conducted by the IJIS Institute and Tetrus during the reporting period is detailed below.
The TTAC team has developed working relationships with many key federal partners representing public health and public safety communities and also collaborates regularly with numerous national organizations. During this reporting period, TTAC staff supported the following national and federal partners:
• ONC - discussed potential solutions to the issue of matching PDMP records to the correct patient.
• CDC – assisted CDC grantees and other partners in developing interstate data sharing and healthcare record integration with the RxCheck Hub.
Saint Louis County is interested in implementing a more comprehensive deflection/diversion program and would appreciate assistance as they move forward. The grantee was interested to learn what other grantees have tried and had success with regarding post-arrest/pre-charge and post-charge/pre-plea.
During the reporting period, the TTAC team participated in weekly update calls with BJA’s COAP policy advisors and in bi-weekly conference calls with BJA staff and other COAP TTA providers to discuss current COAP and PDMP projects and activities. Status reports on PDMP TTAC deliverables and activities are also provided to BJA through weekly written updates.
The TTAC team facilitated a PDMP Track at the COAP National Meeting held in Washington, DC on March 10-12, 2020. The TTAC staff identified several PDMP COAP grantees to present at the meeting and funded the travel expenses for the grantees.
The PDMP TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP Administrators to connect and discuss issues such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. During the reporting period, TTAC staff held three compliance conference calls that brought together interested PDMP Administrators to discuss concerns or issues and seek a solution through a consensus of ideas.
