This meeting was held via teleconference to officially kick-off the next phase of the Real-Time Open Source Toolkit Project (formerly known as the NFCA Socia Media Working Group). During this call the DHS, SLTT partners with PM-ISE and IIR support staff discussed the status of the project, next steps, and provided an update of an upcoming face-to-face meeting planned in July for members of the methodology task team, as well as all task team leaders.

This meeting was held at the request of Jim Sheehan, New Jersey UASI with IIR Social Media SME team and SLTT partners to discuss sample social media policies, PIAs, and training efforts potentially utilizing the training efforts of Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center Analyst Lena Grote and Central Florida Intelligence Center Analyst Heather Perez.

This meeting was held via teleconference with the SLTT partners that make up the Methodology task team to discuss potentially modifying some existing Cyber Threat Intelligence Subcommittee documents for SMWG use.

This meeting was held via teleconference with the NFCA Social Media Working Group Chair and the individual task team leaders to provide updates for each task team: Methodology, Privacy & Civil Liberties, Training, and Deconfliction.

Planning for the Executive Session meeting #7 to be held in early 2016.

Provide speaker to present on law enforcement suicide prevention at the FL Sheriffs' Association Commanders Academy

Provide speaker to present on law enforcement suicide prevention at the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy Law Enforcement Wellness and Suicide Prevention Workshop.

Provided speaker to present on officer wellness and suicide prevention for the St. Petersburg Police Departments Supervisory Training Workshop.

This training of trainers covers the issues of law enforcement suicide prevention to include: statistics, the role of leadership, stigma and barriers to getting help, signs and indicators, depression, how to intervene and provide assistance to an officer in crisis. The students return to their agencies and provide awareness training to the staff.
