The Psychology of COVID-19 article was written to increase knowledge of the psychological impacts of the pandemic and how those in corrections may mitigate them. This article was published in the May-June 2020 issue of Corrections Today which was posted online with free access.

The Coronavirus COVID-19: Managing the Stress of Uncertainty by Taking Care of You Webinar will be conducted to benefit policy makers and all disciplines of correctional staff to provide training and technical assistance on effective management of employees and subsequent related stressors that can be caused by pandemic type occurrences. This live webinar will also be posted to the ACA resource center as enduring materials for the public and individuals who may not have been able to access the live event.

CSG Justice Center staff held an in-person meeting at the National Alliance to End Homelessness Conference.  In that meeting we discussed the departure of their Executive Director, Ann Howard, and discussed how this would impact the grant. While this is a loss for the organization, Ann made steps to implement a slow transition plan.  Further, the incoming Executive Director has experience in Pay for Success which should bode well for the project, having worked on the Denver Pay for Success initiative.  

Impact Justice and its partners will support BJA's PREA grantees in their efforts to develop implementation plans and strategies to address their PREA implementation needs.

Over the month of June, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to support non-SCA grantees and projects. Staff conducted approximately 19 NRRC Helpline requests.

Over the month of May, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to support non-SCA grantees and projects. Staff conducted approximately 3 phone calls and 31 NRRC Helpline requests.

Over the month of April, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to support non-SCA grantees and projects. Staff conducted approximately 3 phone calls and 27 NRRC Helpline requests.

Over the month of March, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to support non-SCA grantees and projects. Staff conducted approximately 1 phone calls and 3 NRRC Helpline requests.

Over the month of February, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to support non-SCA grantees and projects. Staff conducted approximately 8 phone calls and 28 NRRC Helpline requests.
