Kathy Halvorson has organized the local Minn. juvenile detention facilities to hold monthly PREA calls. The Resource Center has agreed to participate on the calls to update the group on PREA in general and the Resource Center specifically.

IIR staff members continued to support the National Fusion Liaison Officer (FLO) Program Coordinators group. This effort includes management of the FLO point-of-contact list, coordination and support of quarterly teleconference calls, assistance with agenda development, identification of and communication with presenters, and preparation of teleconference discussions and action items. A quarterly teleconference occurred on May 20, 2015, to discuss current trends as well as best practices and lessons learned from FLO programs within the National Network of Fusion Centers.

This Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative (NSI) New Director's Briefing teleconference was held to introduce a recently appointed Fusion Center Director, Cara Boyd of the Austin Regional Intelligence Center, to the NSI Executive Support Specialist for her region and to brief her on the NSI, the suspicious activity reporting process, and the national network of fusion centers.

Throughout the month of July, 2015, NCJA continued to provide technical assistance to the GA SAA staff via phone calls and emails, providing information, guidance, and sample documents to inform the state’s strategic planning process. SAA reports the planning project was completed successfully.
