IIR staff members continued to support the National Fusion Liaison Officer (FLO) Program Coordinators group. This effort includes management of the FLO point-of-contact list, coordination and support of quarterly teleconference calls, assistance with agenda development, identification of and communication with presenters, and preparation of teleconference discussions and action items. A quarterly teleconference occurred on May 20, 2015, to discuss current trends as well as best practices and lessons learned from FLO programs within the National Network of Fusion Centers. Such calls assist not only with communications between FLO program coordinators but also with discussing common and consistent operation of FLO programs. Call invitees include the FLO Coordinator and Director from each of the 78 recognized state and major urban area fusion centers, in addition to key federal partners. Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Connect Web conferencing software is utilized for each call so participants can view presentations and documents during the teleconference. Approximately 35 individuals participated in the May 20, 2015, teleconference.
