Policy Development/Adoption

On August 25, 2023, CSG staff had a productive discussion with Jessica Hidalgo, Criminal Justice manager for Palm Beach County in Dade County, FL. During their conversation, they exchanged insights on their respective reentry efforts and expressed enthusiasm about potentially collaborating within the framework of Reentry 2030. Specifically, there was keen interest from Palm Beach County in bolstering their employment-related initiatives through our initiative.

12/8/23: Meeting with Lisa Madden (CEO of Riverbend CMHC, President of NH CMHC Association) to provide a project update and discuss the WG.

12/8/23: Meeting with Helen Hanks (Commissioner, NH DOC) and Keith Johnson (System Development Specialist VI, Department of Corrections) to discuss the DOC data analysis.

12/8/23: Meeting with Senator Becky Whitley (Chair, Commission to Study the NH Adult Parole Board) to provide a project update.

 12/8/23: Meeting with Henry Lipman (Director, NH Medicaid), David Shorney (Deputy Director, NH Medicaid), Julianne Carbin (Deputy Director, DHHS), and Andrew Chalsma (Director of Data Analytics and Reporting, DHHS) to discuss the Medicaid data analysis plan and technical assistance plan.

12/7/23: Kickoff presentation of the data analysis plan and implementation technical assistance overview to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Mental Illness and the Corrections System.

8/16/23: Site visit meeting with state Senator Regina Birdsell (Chair, Senate Health and Human Services Committee) to inform her of the project and provide an overview of the findings.

8/16/23: Site visit meeting with Chief Justice Gordon MacDonald (Chief Justice, New Hampshire Supreme Court) to give him an update on the project and hear about the work the courts have been doing that relate to the project.
