The Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI), in partnership with the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP), Justice for Vets (JFV), and the American Indian and Alaska Native Addiction Technology Transfer Center provided this free five-day Tribal Veterans Healing to Wellness Court - Virtual Training highlighting important considerations for serving and treating Native veterans. Tribal Veterans Virtual Training with 212 attendees and 554 total live viewers.

Center staff are planning its annual Statewide Drug Court Roundtable. The roundtable, scheduled for October 22-23, is typically held at the Center's New York Office. Due to the emergence of the covid-19 pandemic, this year's iteration will occur virtually via a video-conferencing platform. The roundtable will cover various topics of relevance in the drug court field like racial and ethnic disparities, opioid substance use, and incentives and sanctions.

An integrated and comprehensive week of memorial activities that honor the memory of the officers lost in the line of duty, and building the basis for law enforcement survivors to understand ways they can begin to rebuild their shattered lives. C.O.P.S. Survivor's Conference includes over 70 counseling and debriefing sessions facilitated by professional counselors and peer support staff each year.

This meeting is primarily intended for the designated FY 2019 BWC Policy and Implementation Program (PIP) grant agencies. Attendance of two individuals is required as part of BJA BWC grantee activities. Attendees should include points of contact from the funded sites, as well as their key partners in local project implementation (e.g., police executive and command staff, technology and IT representatives, researchers, police agency project 'champions', and important partners such as prosecutors). Previous year BWC-PIP grantees are also welcome to attend.

On January 21, 2020, the CJI team held a National Partners call to discuss the drivers of Tennessee's prison population and strategies for improving outcomes. The team shared project findings with national partners and discussed details about Tennessee's ongoing data-driven process.
