The Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training is the preeminent national training opportunity for tribal problem-solving courts. Like national and regional drug court trainings, the Wellness Court Enhancement Training is oriented around the ten key components and the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) National Drug Court Standards.

Roundtable meeting to discuss the Holistic Defense Pilot Project. The meeting was to take place in-person with invited guests including TCCLA grantees and stakeholders in the tribal legal services field. The meeting was upended and put on hold due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the January - June 2020 reporting period, the 2020 PSP Symposium was cancelled at DOJ’s direction. During the July - December 2020 reporting period, at BJA’s direction, IIR began planning efforts to support a virtual networking meeting in spring 2021. The event was renamed the PSP Violent Crime Virtual Summit, which took place over the course of two afternoons on April 21-22, 2021. The virtual summit gathered the current 14 PSP sites as well as inviting attendees from other DOJ programs such as Strategies for Policing Innovation and Project Safe Neighborhoods.

The New Recovery Advocacy Movement (NRAM) is a social movement led by people in addiction recovery and their allies, aimed at altering public and professional attitudes toward addiction recovery. TTA Center staff attended this virtual conference and networked with participants.

The FY 2020 CTAS New Grantee Orientation will be presented via a live online format due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and related health and safety concerns. The Orientation is scheduled for December 2-3, 2020. On December 8th and 9th, all grantees will participate in Purpose Area (PA) specific workshop(s) for the grant(s) they were awarded.
