The Rapid City Police Department has had a relationship with the Council of Elders since the inception of the group in 2015. The Council of Elders was founded to address race relations in the community. The RCPD and Council of Elders have had an ad hoc relationship, working on developing incidents, or as a response to community concerns that had been brought to the Council of Elders from the RCPD. The Council of Elders has been actively involved in several processes to improve the community and police relations.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for representatives to attend the Texas Border Sheriff’s and Southwestern Border Sheriff’s Coalitions Joint Meeting. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for two representatives to attend the meeting on September 17-18, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona.

The Cathedral City, California Police Department (PD) requested a crime analysis assessment. OnPoint Analytics was selected to fulfill the request and conducted an assessment between January 2020 and April 2020. OnPoint Analytics delivered a final recommendations report to Cathedral City PD in March 2020.

The Shelby County, Tennessee District Attorney's Office requested leadership training for its staff. Vera Causa Group was selected to fulfill the request and provided onsite leadership training to 20 members of the Shelby County District Attorney's Office on December 16, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for representatives to attend the 2019 National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) Forum. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for four representatives to attend the 2019 NCJA Forum from September 16-18, 2019 in Arlington, Virginia.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for representatives from regional law enforcement agencies to attend the 2019 Public Safety Partnership Symposium. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for 25 regional representatives to attend the Symposium on September 9 - 11, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma Marshal Service, as part of the Tulsa, Oklahoma National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for a representative to attend the International Homicide Investigator’s Association Advanced Homicide course. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for one representative from the Tulsa PSP site to attend the training on September 16–19, 2019 in Columbus, Georgia.

The Decatur County, Indiana Sheriff's Office requested use of force training. Command Presence was selected to fulfill the request and provided the training titled “Decision Making: Foundations of Reasonable Force,” to 38 members of 14 agencies, including the Decatur County Sheriff's Office, on January 28, 2020 in Decatur County, Indiana.

The Seton Hall University requested assistance through BJA NTTAC to enhance its crime analysis assignments and processes. ​Blue Courage Inc. was selected to facilitate the assistance and conducted a two day onsite visit with the University in March 2020. Two Blue Courage providers developed a report with recommendations specific to training, functionality, and staffing to optimize existing crime analysis capacity.

The non profit organization TTM PTP inc. requested assistance to host online forums for our non-profit organization dedicated to help promote mental wellness and suicide prevention for Police. BJA NTTAC denied this request.
