"In February, CSG Justice Center staff continued to support analysts in Wyoming, Louisiana, and California. In Wyoming, the resident analyst continued her progress on the dashboard, meeting with several more internal stakeholders with updated prototypes. In California, the RCA continued their progress on the protocols and provided data for a fact sheet. CSG Justice Center staff have been taking the lead on drafting the fact sheet to ensure clear messaging and impact.

Douglas from WV DCR to discuss RCA project scope and implementation of technical requirements. 8/7/23 - Video conference with Danielle Wallace (Associate Professor, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice) and Brooks Louton (Assistant Professor, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice) of Arizona State University to discuss placement of ASU students for RCA.  Â

In December, CSG Justice Center staff finalized the hiring for the resident analyst for the LDPSC. The new?analyst, Chelsey Wright, will begin work on January 16, 2024.
Additionally, CSG Justice Center staff rescheduled the RCA learning retreat from this month to early 2024.?Despite the rescheduling, CSG Justice Center staff gave two presentations to the RCAs on risk-need-responsivity and best practices for correctional systems and correctional user perspectives.

In October, CSG Justice Center staff continued working to hire a resident analyst for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections (LDPSC). CSG Justice Center staff reopened the RCA job posting for LDPSC, identified potential candidates for the position, and began the interview process.?
CSG Justice Center staff continued to draft a web post announcing the selected sites and projects and sent the selected sites an overview of the web post blurb content as it pertained to their DOC to allow them to review and make edits as necessary.?
