Actively work with Center for Justice Innovation to transition open projects to the National Center for State Courts, learn about previous years' work, quarterly meetings with state treatment court coordinators, and the online learning community. A key task in this activity is the transfer of treatmentcourts.org from CJI to NCSC. The transfer is the last piece of the transition.

On December 5, 2023, the Bureau of Justice Assistance's (BJA) Smart Policing Initiative (SPI) Training and Technical Assistance team hosted the webinar, FY 2023 Smart Policing Initiative Program New Grantee Orientation. If you were unable to join the webinar, provided are the slides and recording below.
The webinar provides an overview of the SPI program; SPI supports available to new sites through BJA, and CNA, the SPI training and technical assistance provider; and BJA guidance on management of the sites' new grant award.
On October 11, 2023, we presented during the From Jail to Home: The Case For Supportive Housing Impact of Frequent User Service Enhancement (FUSE) and Scaling for the Future symposium in a panel session called “Centering Data in Decision Making.” The session featured the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the author of a study on the impact of FUSE, and sites in New Jersey and New York.
It can often be difficult to link people to the housing resources they need during periods of homelessness and housing insecurity. Homeless Outreach Teams (HOTs) are one approach to connecting people to tailored housing and wraparound services in the community, rather than using emergency departments to provide crisis intervention with limited capacity for follow-up.
