The Choctaw of Oklahoma Department of Criminal Justice is requesting is requesting training on
Advanced Motivational Interviewing for all of their probation staff. The training would consist
of two days of basic Motivational Interviewing that will be provided online and two days of
training focused on advanced Motivational Interviewing skills that will be in person. This

This Community of Practice focused on assessment and case planning. We presented an overview of assessments, best practices in case planning and provided templates to develop case plans with corrections clients on probation or reentering the community.

AARP requested information regarding older adult drug use, including drug overdose deaths by age, drugs involved, and precipitating events. They were provided with four figures showing crude death rate by age cohort and acceleration percent by age cohort and an interview was conducted. AARP wants to provide outreach to older adults that may be at risk for drug use/overdose.
