Mr. Vaudreuil delivered a presentation on developing a focused deterrence program from a prosecutor’s perspective, ensuring law enforcement commitment, and prosecuting individuals that violate the rules of the focused deterrence program on August 28, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Uchida delivered a presentation on the national perspective on violence reduction on July 20, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for attendees to participate in the Violent Crime Reduction Strategic Development State and Local Government Working Group Meeting. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to 38 attendees to attend the meeting on August 2, 2017 in Long Beach, California.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested travel support for a select number of law enforcement executives, community stakeholders, and other justice practitioners to attend the U.S. Department of Justice National Summit on Crime Reduction and Public Safety. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for 99 individuals to attend the event from June 19-21, 2017 in Bethesda, Maryland.
The Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions requested the Blue Courage Academy. Blue Courage Inc. was selected to fulfill the request and provided the two-day Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian course and the two-day Blue Courage Train-the-Trainer to 22 representatives from law enforcement agencies across Maryland on July 31, 2017 - August 3, 2017, in Sykesville, Maryland.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for two individuals to attend the Henu Wellness Court Opening Ceremony. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for two tribal court judges from the state of Minnesota to attend the event from June 22-24, 2017 in Kenai, Alaska.
The Supreme Court of Ohio requested support in hosting a meeting for the Regional Judicial Opioid Initiative. The request was denied and not fulfilled by BJA NTTAC.
