The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for panelists to present at the 2019 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for one representative from the Baton Rouge, Louisiana National Public Safety Partnership site to present on a workshop entitled “The Best Way to Engage Communities Through Outreach,” at the 2019 IACP Conference on October 26, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for panelists to present at the 2019 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for one representative from the Harris County, Texas National Public Safety Partnership site to present on a workshop entitled “Approaches to Investigating Officer Involved Shootings from Law Enforcement and Prosecutor Perspectives,” at the 2019 IACP Conference on October 29, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois.

BJA requested support for registration costs, labor, and travel for attendees to attend and speak at the International Association of Crime Analysis (IACA) conference. BJA NTTAC provided support for two travelers to attend the conference on August 19 - 23, 2019 in National Harbor, Maryland.
The Fairbanks, Alaska Police Department (PD) requested “Leading without Rank”, “Recruiting and Retention”, and “Dynamics of Officer and Citizen Encounters” training. Command Presence was selected to fulfill the request and provided the six-day course to 75 newly promoted sergeants on November 13 -21, 2019, in Fairbanks, Alaska.
The Hampden County Sheriff's Department requested the “Speed of Trust Train-the-Trainer” program. BJA NTTAC provided funding for facilitator and participant kits and travel support for one instructor from FranklinCovey to deliver the course to seven members of the Hampden County Sheriff's Department from October 30-November 1, 2019.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested travel support for speakers to present on BJA sponsored panels at the e International Association of Chiefs of Police conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to eight speakers to attend and present at the conference on October 26–30, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois.
The Fairbanks, Alaska Police Department requested assistance to help train their officers in leadersip and community engagement. The engagement was transferred to a new contract.
The Hampden County, Massachusetts Sheriff's Department requested training in the Speed of Trust Train the Trainer program content. The request is to have staff trained to implement Speed of Trust concepts to 70 of our uniformed supervisors. This would include facilitator materials, certification, participant materials, shipping, and travel. This request was postponed until BJA NTTAC Option Year 3.
