The Middlesex Sheriff's Office requested funding for speaker support for a conference on issues facing people of color in the criminal justice field. BJA NTTAC was not able to fulfill the request and closed the request on November 15, 2016.
The Detroit, Michigan Police Department, as part of the Detroit Violence Reduction Network (VRN) site, requested assistance to facilitate a crime analysis summit to educate crime analysts, executives, command staff, managers, and supervisors in Detroit and surrounding areas on crime analysis, social media analysis, social network analysis, geographic information systems, and investigative analysis. The West Memphis, Arkansas Violence Reduction Network (VRN) site requested travel support for three individuals to attend the 26th Annual Problem-Oriented Policing Conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for three individuals to travel to the conference that took place October 24 – 26, 2016 in Tempe, Arizona.
The Pasco, Washington Police Department (PD) requested support to purchase Blue Courage participant kits. Blue Courage Inc. was selected to fulfill the request and provided 80 participant kits to Pasco PD in January 2017.
The Lansing, Michigan Police Department (PD) requested Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian training for its agency personnel. The request was referred to and fulfilled by IADLEST, as Michigan was a former Blue Courage immersion state.
The Livermore, California Police Department requested the three-day 7 Habits for Highly Effective Law Enforcement training, followed by a two-day 7 Habits train-the-trainer course. BJA NTTAC was not able to fulfill the request and closed the request on July 21, 2017.
The Tucson, Arizona Police Department (PD) requested the Tact, Tactics, and Trust (T3) train-the-trainer course. Polis Solutions was selected as the provider and provided the three-day T3 training course to 26 officers and sergeants within the Tucson PD on January 9 - 11, 2017, in Tucson, Arizona.
The Greensboro, North Carolina Police Department requested the three-day Inclusive Leadership training. Blue Courage Inc. was selected as the provider and delivered the training to 28 Greensboro PD personnel on April 4-6, 2017 in Greensboro, NC.
The New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council requested BJA NTTAC support for the Blue Courage Academy for agency personnel. The request was referred to IADLEST because they have an existing BJA grant award to provide the Blue Courage Academy course in selected immersion states.
