A few members from NCJA's Board of Directors mentioned to NCJA's Center for Justice Planning that one challenge SAAs consistently encounter is how best to relay who the SAA is, what they do, and ultimately, the story of the SAA. They requested TTA help for this issue. NCJA staff created a committee composed of four interested board members. The committee elected to create a survey to determine whether all SAAs have similar communications related needs.

We will be introducing the project to the field at the NDAA Summer Summit to bring awareness about the project and where prosecutors can find upcoming information and resources
This workshop provided information to Tribal Community Supervision and treatment court professionals on the services available through APPA. This workshop covered information contained on the Tribal Community Corrections Support Center website including a brief history of APPA work in Tribal Community Corrections, available training and technical assistance services, example program documents, and publications. The Tribal Grants Manager also introduced the Tribal Justice Probation System Review Guidebook, Risk-Need-Responsivity publication, and the Reentry Toolkit.
NDCRC staff fielded inquiries related to research and practice in the field as well as NDCRC updates. These questions were received primarily via the NDCRC email, individual staff emails, and the contact page of the NDCRC website. Between July 1 and December 31, 2022, staff addressed via email approximately 2,000 questions about the NDCRC, treatment courts, or other resources.
Audit Oversight team operate the Peer Mentor program to develop mentors out of established Peer Reviewers.

NCJA is engaging with the Richland County (SC) Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. The Richland CJCC is a newly formed CJCC that needs assistance in creating buy-in from stakeholders and determining the goals of the county. NCJA partnered with Policy Research Associates to conduct a sequential intercept mapping for Richland County.
NDCRC co-directors Dr. Christina Lanier and Dr. Kristen DeVall reached out to state associations during spring 2022 to introduce the NDCRC. The California Association of Collaborative Courts (CACC) was very interested in the California state report distributed to the state coordinators as a result of their Painting the Current Picture survey response. On June 2, 2022, with the permission of state coordinators, Dr. Lanier and Dr. DeVall presented these findings to the CACC Racial Justice Equity and Inclusion Workgroup.
