Priority Area 1: Assist the three delivery systems with identifying strategies and developing comprehensive equitable statewide supervision recommendations and definitions for community supervision.
Update: In May, CSG Justice Center staff briefly discussed the next steps for developing recommendations regarding consistent statewide supervision standards. Based on time and technical issues early in the meeting, the group did not outline tasks for the supervision standards.

CSG Justice Center staff worked with partners to promote the public feedback opportunity. CSG Justice Center also prepared to present at the American Probation and Parole Association conference in Indianapolis as detailed under Objective 3.

In Indiana, CSG Justice Center Staff alongside state champion, Cass County Court and Pretrial Services Director, Hillary Hartoin, delivered a mainstage presentation titled: Making Justice Count in Probation and Parole: Data as a storytelling mechanism at the 49th Annual American Probation and Parole Association Training Institute.

Objective 7: Facilitate the adoption and implementation of Justice Counts in additional states. (Light Touch States)
In California CSG Justice Center staff met with the California District Attorneys Association to provide them with an introduction to Justice Counts and an avenue to assist with their Accountability Bill.?In California CSG Justice Center staff introduced the project to Deputy Attorney General.?

CSG Justice Center staff presented the project at the American Jail Association Conference during a breakout session in Ft. Lauderdale.?The presentation brought together approximately 18 attendees and lead to two agencies opting in to Justice Counts.
