In January, TLPI (Tribal Law and Policy Institute) sent them an initial welcome letter that included a poll to schedule a virtual kick off meeting, provided a questionnaire to identify T/TA (Training and Technical Assistance) priorities, and provided information on the upcoming CTAS Orientation and Emerging Issues Conference.

TLPI supported a statewide conference/meeting by presenting a workshop titled “Joint Jurisdiction Courts 101: An Overview” on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the 2024 Arizona Association of Drug Court Professionals Annual Treatment Court Conference in Prescott, AZ ( Task 3.3). TLPI will continue to offer conference presentations and support statewide meetings, as feasible (Task 3.2-3.3).

As defined in the grant deliverables, the NTCRC will convene virtual regional meetings with BJA grantees. The subject of these meetings is to be determined, but planning for this deliverable is continuing.

TLPI has been selected to self-certify Conference Request forms. The form for the Fundamentals Training was submitted June 2024. The training dates are September 16-17, 2024.
