Wellness Court Specialist Alyssa Harrold joined All Rise's Community Supervision Training in Okalhoma City, Oklahoma. Two of the three tribes in attendance were current grantees: Trinidad Rancheria (FY22 Adult Treatment Court grantee) and Yavapai Apache (FY23 Adults Treatment Court grantee).

Wellness Court Specialist Angie Juárez-Monger provided grantee outreach and support to the Southern Ute Tribe (FY23 Adult Treatment Court grantee) this reporting period: budgetary assistance for gaining budget clearance; sharing of trauma-informed training opportunity as well as Family Wellness Court funding information; support for task timeline activity to assist with grant deliverables, including Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) opportunity forthcoming; programmatic success or challenges; and recommendation for WC Alumni for Success Stories webinar.

"TLPI presented at the 2024 Arizona Association of Drug Court Professionals Treatment Court Conference. Wellness Court Specialists Kristina Pacheco, Angie Juarez-Monger, and Alyssa Harrold; along with Consultants Joseph Flies Away, Matthew Lesky, and Jenny Walter presented six presentations and collaborated in one pre-conference session:

TLPI offered a May webinar series highlighting National Treatment Court Month. The following webinars were offered:
May 2 - Serving LGBTQ2S+ Participants in THWCs;
May 9 - The Power of Storytelling;
May 16 - Implementing and Supporting Trauma-Informed Legal Systems;
May 24 - Mentor Court Program - Promising Practices in Peer to Peer Learning;
May 30 - Protectors, Warriors, and Soldiers (Veteran).

This reporting period Sister Court visits at two Mentor Court sites have been planned. Sister Courts Keweenaw Bay Community and Pokagon Tribe, along with Mentor Court Tulalip, are planned to visit Mentor Court LTBB as a part of a Cultural Onsite Training on August 20-22, 2024 to observe how culture is incorporated into their THWC. This will be a 3-day visit that will include traditional cultural activities, THWC staffing and hearing observations, and a talking circle. Sister Courts Trinidad and Muckleshoot will visit Mentor Court New Mexico Urban but have not yet set a date.

TLPI has been selected to self-certify Conference Request forms but required to submit a form for the 2024 American Indian Justice Conference. The form was submitted March 22, 2024 and approved May 29, 2024. The conference dates are July 30-31, 2024.

TLPI has been selected to self-certify Conference Request forms. The form for the 2024 Implementation and Enhancement Training was submitted February 2024 and included in the monthly notification to BJA. The conference dates are September 18-20, 2024.
