Evaluation feedback from five individuals completing the on-demand virtual “Homegrown Violent Extremism Threat to Law Enforcement: The Jesse Hartnett Survivor Story” was positive. All student indicated that they were satisfied with the course and agreed or strongly agreed that the information was useful, it increased their knowledge, was relevant to their current jobs, they would apply what they had learned and would recommend the course to others. Students commented that case studies, like Jesse Hartnett’s story, are the “absolute best training tool,” particularly when provided by the officer involved in the incident.
