Evaluation feedback from 13 individuals completing the on-demand virtual “Homegrown Violent Extremism Threat to Law Enforcement: The Jesse Hartnett Survivor Story” was positive. All student indicated that they were satisfied with the course and agreed or strongly agreed that the information was useful, it increased their knowledge, was relevant to their current jobs, they would apply what they had learned and would recommend the course to others. Students appreciated how they were “walked through the event,” and one student stated that the training was a “great real-world example of homegrown violent extremists and a heartwarming survivor story of the relentless officer.”
