Burlington Police Department Lieutenant Glen Mills attended the SLATT 2022 Webinar conducted on February 23, 2022. The webinar provided an overview on the SLATT Program to include the suite of training courses, webinars, resources, and technical assistance. Pursuant to the webinar, Lieutenant Mills requested a presenter for the New England Crime Analysis & Intelligence Conference to be held in Plymouth, MA on May 9 – 13, 2022. The conference is a joint effort of the Massachusetts Association of Crime Analysts and the New England State Police Information Network (NESPIN) RISS center. The request was approved by BJA and Senior Research Associate Tom Ruocco and Senior Research Associate Monte McKee attended the conference and delivered a presentation, Understanding Today’s Threats – Terrorism, Targeted Violence, and Hate Crimes, to two different breakout sessions – May 10th and 11th respectively at 1:30PM to 2:45PM.
