The International Association of Chiefs of Police hosted a group of twenty-eight law enforcement professionals for the piloted Law Enforcement Resilience Training Train-the-Trainer course. The participants that attended came from the three pilot sites, Norfolk, VA Police Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol and Lincoln, NE Police Department. The training took place over the course of four days at the IACP office in Alexandria, VA. Five trainers from the University of Pennsylvania also participated in the training to ensure the newly trained officers were well versed and equipped with the knowledge and skills to be able to deliver the training to their respective agencies and the law enforcement field at large. At the conclusion of the training, the participants took an end of the course evaluation to evaluate themselves and the four-day training. The Trainers from UPenn, constructed feedback that will be distributed to each participants following the IACP project team’s review.
