SAKI TTA shared a hand-crafted message to SAKI Flint regarding an FBI ViCAP webinar, specifically tailored to SAKI grantees that was being held Friday, July 22, 2022. There was an attached email from SAKI TTA outlining the registration process and materials that are required for participants (access to ViCAP, etc.).

The TCoP hosted a virtual event on March 24, 2022, focusing on digital trust. The presentation by subject-matter expert (SME) Daniel Gomez, included how to create digital trust policy, how to communicate that information with the community, and how to continue to ensure digital trust internally and externally. Mr. Ben Gorban from the National Policing Insititue presented on their new project with the Bureau of Justice Assistnce, Technology Innovations in Public Safety, which will provide resources on digital trust.

This session for the Technology Community of Practice (TCoP) was held on December 16, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., ET. The discussion was moderated by Subject-Matter Expert, Mr. Patrick Kinney, and the topic was social media exploration (SOMEX). Mr. Kinney provided an overview of what SOMEX is, how SOMEX can benefit agencies, and policies surrounding SOMEX . Throughout the discussion, CoP members were able to ask questions.

CSG Justice Center staff conducted a virtual site visit with the FY18 JMHCP Roseburg, OR grantee. The goal of this site visit was to assist the Roseburg team in getting a data use agreement in place with Douglas County dispatch center. Originally there was meant to be another session on data collection and analysis, but the contractor that was going to lead that session had an emergency and needed to reschedule.

Quarterly Global Advisory Meeting: Held as one of four annual GAC meetings. This virtual meeting focused on information sharing strategies within the criminal justice communities and the development of new policies, strategies, and technology implementation related to justice reform and change.

This session for the Crime Analysis Community of Practice (CACoP) was held on December 8, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., ET. The discussion was moderated by Subject-Matter Expert, Ms. Annie Mitchell, and the topic was data dashboards. Amarillo and Harris County provided dashboard examples, so their site could show examples to the other CoP members during the discussion. Ms. Mitchell also provided examples, and went over what she liked and did not like about each one. Throughout the discussion, CoP members were able to ask questions and discuss their own dashboards.
