GAC members and partners met to discuss current and emerging issues in justice information sharing and integration initiatives, including ongoing Global priority projects such as the Nationwide Criminal History Records and Methamphetamine Abuses Associated with the Opioid Crisis projects. The Mending the Rainbow Training was a 2 day on-site training to increase awareness of the issues faced by the LGBTQ2S community in the tribal justice System and what courts can do to make their court-rooms more inclusive. The training explored the history of LGBTQ2S people in Native American focused historic and contemporary contexts to help attendees become more aware of the population.

NW3C staff attended the 2017 American Society of Criminology Annual Meeting. While there, NW3C assisted with facilitating a meeting of the Division on White-Collar and Corporate Crime (formerly the White Collar Crime Research Consortium and now an official division within the American Society of Criminology). NW3C also conducted a presentation on data breaches and the effect on state and local governments.
