The purpose of the Criminal Intelligence Coordination Council (CICC) meeting held at the IACP annual conference was to bring together leadership from the CICC, and federal partners to discuss current criminal intelligence, national intelligence, and information sharing issues and initiatives. This dialogue supported and enhanced widespread coordination and collaboration among state, local, tribal, territorial, and federal agencies, creating stronger partnerships and effective nationwide information sharing.

GAC members and partners met to discuss current and emerging issues in justice information sharing and integration initiatives, including ongoing Global priority projects such as the Nationwide Criminal History Records and Methamphetamine Abuses Associated with the Opioid Crisis projects. GAC members also took required Ethics Training through BJA.

On October 2, Byron Kline attended in person and participated in a meeting of the Delaware Public Housing Authority Reentry Work Group, formed to build out their upcoming Family Reentry Pilot as part of the Opening Door initiative. The group discussed eligibility for the program, forthcoming changes to their administrative plans, and the finalization of the memorandum of understanding between all five housing authorities and the department of correction. Byron later participated in a meeting of the Delaware Correctional Reentry Commission.

On June 12th, Byron Kline attended a meeting of Delaware's Public Housing Authority reentry work group-- created to form the statewide family reentry program. The meeting set goals and agreed on the scope of work for the group. Successes and challenges of other sites and reentry programs were shared to shape the process for this work group. The work group includes representatives from each of the five housing authorities in the state, as well as local reentry stakeholders and community corrections.
