This meeting including a briefing from ATF regarding Privately Manufactured Firearms (PMFs, Ghost Guns); a presentation on security in cyberspace; a NIEM Update; a CI/IT working group update; Update on the revisions to the Law Enforcement Intelligence Guide; and a CICC member roundtable.

The meeting provided updates related “Operation Lady Justice” and tribal justice issues. The meeting included a NIEM update, examination of geospatial and data privacy, updates from the Global Executive Steering Committee (GESC), and a CICC update.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was moved to a virtual space. The meeting included an update related to the nationwide Ashanti Alert System, 28 CFR Part 23 Training Refresh, an information security presentation by Facebook, INC., a DHS NTER Program update, and a Western Crime Gun Intelligence Working Group update.

This virtual meeting was held to explain the task team operation to all members and to ensure that all members had the materials prepared by IIR before they began working within their individual subgroups. During the meeting, task team members received a briefing of the project and several documents related to operation of the task team.
