The RVCRI Solicitation Webinar will provide details and guidance to eligible applicants on the RVCRI Grant Program. The RVCRI is a competitive grant program, funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, supporting rural law enforcement agencies addressing violent crime challenges. Grants can support various aspects of policing including improving investigations, implementing violent crime reduction strategies, and enhancing collaboration between local stakeholders. Awards are competitive in nature and can range from $25,000 - $150,000. Grants can be used to:
The RVCRI team will host an Orientation Event on February 16 to orient new RVCRI grantees under both LISC and the Institute. The Orientation will:
1. Provide a high-level overview of the program
2. Split into organization-specific breakout rooms to discuss specific grant management reimbursement guidelines
3. Give agencies the opportunity to learn which agencies are joining them in RVCRI
4 Ask questions of BJA, the Institute, and LISC
