The NRTAC hosted the 6th Annual Regional CGIC Multi-Site Training in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Indianapolis Crime Gun Task Force assisted in the organization of the conference and invited participating CGIC grantees to tour their CGIC. This year, the FY21 sites were invited to join for two days, while the FY20 sites were invited to attend only the first day of the conference. The conference was a mix of panel presentations and breakout sessions.
All seven PSN regions received TTA during the reporting period. A TTA Smart Sheet tracker is kept current and circulated by CNA among the partners and BJA. Items in the tracker come from formal TTA requests received through the https://psntta.org/tta-request-form/. Refer to the Semi-Annual report submitted by CNA for additional details.

The RVCRI Team launched the second application wave for the RVCRI Grant Program.

Applications Require: Completed Application, Short Proposal Narrative, and Budget
RVCRI, funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and supported by the National Policing Institute and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), provides grants, training, and technical assistance (TTA) support to law enforcement agencies addressing violent crime challenges in rural areas. Awards will range from $25,000 - $150,000. Applications and awards will be made on a rolling cohort basis, with the second cohort deadline being March 31, 2023. This webinar introduces participants to illegal darknet markets and associated forums, particularly the illicit goods and services offered, as well as successful law enforcement operations targeting these sites. Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to create anonymous accounts to access and monitor these sites and intelligence collection tactics for use in law enforcement investigations.
