Initial scheduling email sent 10/14. Meeting scheduled for 11/18. As subgrantees have not been awarded, this meeting was run as a standard check-in. They are making good progress in getting subs awarded, we just didn't want to confuse or interfere with their process.
Completed our December check-in call with the Plymouth County team. They shared that they were awarded a new COSSUP grant to expand their Comfort Dog program. They have plans to expand to additional schools/communities and enroll more dogs. They have seen a lot of success and plan to continue partnering with Bridgewater University and collecting data.
This was the first check-in with Northumberland in several months due to staff turnover. The team member we originally met with to establish individualized TA has left. The individuals we met with provided an update on programming, their plans to spend down funds, and their evaluation plans. We will follow up again in March.
RTI TA team completed a check-in call with the Gaston County team. We were informed that Debra Littlejohn will be leaving the organization. They also let us know that they have received a new COSSUP grant. Things are going well and they are preparing to transition to the new grant.
RTI TA team and BJA met with the City of Erie for the first time since we started providing individualized TA for the Youth and Families grantees. The grantee shared that program activities are going as planned and they have established relationships between law enforcement and they youth/their communities.
RTI TA team met with the Kansas team for their regular check-in. The Kansas team shared that they are working on a media campaign and have a lot of upcoming meetings/conferences to disseminate information.
RTI TA team met with Marion County team for their check-in. The team shared that they have had some staff turnover and they have launched a new location in partnership with HealthNet. They have experienced some challenges with the location due to pharmacy protocols and their close proximity to the pharmacy.
RTI TA team met with Cecil County to discuss updates with programming and upcoming events.
Following the meeting where RTI TA team and BJA team met with Hocking County to try and sort through confusion with grant management. This meeting was to meet with the new Hocking County grant manager and better understand the grant outside of school-based programming.
