Through NRRC project work, staff communicates with leaders in the field, potential partners, and stakeholders.
CSG Justice Center staff will provide office based technical assistance to Second Chance Act grantees and respond to their inquiries.
This webinar is for all 2015 Second Chance Act grantees that serve adults. During the webinar, National Reentry Resource Center staff explained the training and technical assistance opportunities and resources available to grantees and Bureau of Justice Assistance staff provided an overview of the post-award grant management requirements.
Phone TA and sharing of materials in response to questions about the ACA
As part of its assessment role, the Urban Institute monitors progress in Justice Reinvestment states. Urban collects and assesses monthly reports on technical assistance to the sites, information on sites' subaward funding, and letters of interest. In this role, Urban also reaches out to technical assistance providers for the states and holds semi-structured interviews with site stakeholders.
Presentation(s) for the Mid Atlantic States Correctional Association Conference. One topic is an update on Audits and the Auditing Process. A survey to membership will assist in developing other topics.
During this site visit, CSG Justice Center staff visited three halfway house facilities operated by VOA Delaware Valley. After an overview of the mentoring program at each facility, CSG Justice Center and VOA staff discussed recommendations and observations made by CSG Justice Center staff.

NACo and CSG met with Alameda County to provide information on SCA, general reentry, and Stepping Up. Alameda County requested this meeting to consider different funding streams and strategies available to help reduce the number of people with mental illnesses in jails.
