Over the month of January, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to Second Chance Act grantees and responded to inquiries from the field. Staff conducted approximately 170 phone calls and 146 emails.
CSG Justice Center staff attended the 2018 Re-entry Practitioners' Symposium event. The symposium?was?held on May 17, 2018?from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Education and Training Center in Sykesville, Maryland.
Core Services in Brooklyn House New York requested a review of their Risk Assessment Tool post audit. A PRC consultant will provide a review of their tool for compliance with the PREA Standards.
The PRC has been ask to provide a workshop that focuses on PREA and the Standards as well as participating on a Round Table event during the conference. The specific topic of the workshop has yet to be determined.
