In accordance with the goals of building capacity in the field and diversity in TTA providers, the PRC will recruit and with an expert group of consultant providers available to respond to field-initiated requests for assistance. This is a new network for the PRC and a new approach to utilize individual consultants rather than large organizational providers for these services. This model will allow the PRC to both invest in emerging leaders/trainers and increase capacity and diversity available to respond to requests.

Peer Learning Small Grants fund travel by BCJI leaders to visit other sites in the BCJI network, or to visit sites of other initiatives (like VRN or SPI) to aid consideration of evidence-informed practices. LISC awarded the Denver BCJI site a peer learning grant to cover travel for members of the Denver Police Department to attend the most recent Smart Policing Institute (SPI) Collaboration workshop in Kansas City.

At the invitation of Representatives Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) and Bobby Scott (D-VA), the Task Force presented its final report and recommendations, discussed the process behind these recommendations, and answered questions from the audience and reporters.
