The Hampden County, Massachusetts Sheriff's Department requested training in the Speed of Trust Train the Trainer program content. The request is to have staff trained to implement Speed of Trust concepts to 70 of our uniformed supervisors. This would include facilitator materials, certification, participant materials, shipping, and travel. This request was postponed until BJA NTTAC Option Year 3.

It is essential to campus safety efforts that there be a vehicle for identifying, in concert with campus executives, emerging public safety and emergency management challenges and potential solutions. To this end, the NCCPS facilitates emerging issues forums to convene subject matter experts, practitioners, relevant professional association members, and government agency representatives to devise consensus strategies for successfully addressing identified challenges in specific topic areas.

The Virgin Island Department of Justice requested training for local law enforcement and detectives in the investigation and prosecution of violent and financial crimes. BJA NTTAC referred this request to the Police Executive Research Forum.

MSU and the Innovations/Smart Suite TTA partners will develop the following items: Roadmap of existing resources, enhance MSU Innovations Suite Researcher-Practitioner Fellows Academy Website with links to partnering organizations & resources and develop online forums for a Smart Suite community of practice.

All tasks were completed throughout the life of the grant. Existing materials will be maintained. Enhancements and expansion of resources will occur under the 2021 SS TTA grant led by JRSA.
